I haven’t really been too inspired recently, but as my Amaryllis bulb began to bloom, I dug out my camera, 50mm f/1.8 and reversing ring and experimented with some Macro photography of the plant’s architecture. I really love my “nifty fifty” for the deliciously rich colours and sharpness it produces. If it weren’t manual focus only on my D40, it would be my walk-around lens.
